It’s almost officially fall! Without meaning to, I made brown the unofficial color of the season with our fall bag collection over on ABBY ALLEY. I just kept seeing these gorgeous brown tones and couldn’t say no to them! We have Latte, Miel (honey), Cognac, Espresso, Mocha, and Chocolate. Apparently I only name colors after food and drinks. :) So it got me thinking…how am I going to wear these browns this season?
Outfit 1: Denim & Chocolate
Jeans and a striped button up is sort of my uniform and Michelle Tomczak styled it so well here. I love it with the Chocolate Suede Sling and similarly toned shoes. And I really love brown with blue denim - especially the suede - it just adds so much to a really easy outfit.
Outfit 2: Cognac & Black
Black and brown can be a little polarizing. I’m definitely pro! Especially with this cognac color - it really warms up an all black look and the texture of these bags adds so much dimension.

Outfit 3: Beige
This is a beautiful example of staying in one color but mixing tones from light to dark. I’m a big fan of a monochromatic look, and this is sometimes easier to accomplish because I don’t always have everything in the same color.

Outfit 4: Miel (Honey), Brown, Navy & Red
When Alina wore this outfit, I instantly knew I’d want to recreate this color palette. It’s the perfect way to add color to an outfit while still being neutral. I have these red Mary Janes - so I’ll definitely be wearing a version of this soon!

Outfit 5: Shades of Brown & White
I love this color story. I love wearing white after labor day and this is the perfect way to do it. I will wear it with the pants, white tee, and caramel sweater layered with the Everyday Bucket Bag and either Birks or the sneakers (once they arrive!).

Outfit 6: Chocolate & Blue
Brown and blue are really good together. You really can’t go wrong. Below is my interpretation of the inspo image, but you can do really any shade of blue (baby, navy, cobalt, midnight, azure) with any shade of brown (chocolate, tan, cognac, caramel, honey, taupe, copper).

Outfit 7: Olive Pants & Chocolate
Olive is another color that goes with all shades of brown, making it a fall staple. I particularly love it with the chocolate suede. The olive pants I’ve been talking about finally arrived and I’ll be wearing them on repeat all season long with both of these tops below!
Outfit 8: Espresso & Taupe/ Olive/Sage
Olive can be interpreted in so many ways, and this inspo photo is the perfect example of that. She’s wearing colors that are sort of brown, sort of green…which look so perfect with our Espresso Croco leather. You can do this in a more elevated “work wear” way or more casually.
Outfit 9: Gray & Brown
Gray is another absolute fall staple - both heather gray and charcoal gray. They look so good with brown. I lined up all of our shades so you can see for yourself. :)
Outfit 10: All Black & Brown
Wearing all black is one of those go-to outfit formulas for me. And if I don’t want to be full goth, adding a brown bag is a great way to break it up while staying monochrome.
Outfit 11: Black & Black
I couldn’t resist!
The moral of the story? Brown is so versatile and the more shades of it the merrier!

Abby
