I’m so excited to write this post! One of the best parts of my job is discovering other small business who are aiming to make the world better through fashion. Getting to know the owners, the stories, the makers and techniques - it’s so rewarding for me. And I love getting to share those brands with you because word of mouth is truly so impactful for small businesses who don’t have huge marketing budgets.
One of my favorite brands right now is Mirth, a clothing brand, designed in Texas and made by hand in India and Peru. I love their commitment to artisan craft and I love their commitment to the flowy dress. Their fabrics are so breathable and really give you that effortless-chic vibe. They also have gorgeous knitwear, which we’ll talk about more later. All of the pieces I own are great quality and I they are some of the most pulled for pieces in my closet.

So let’s get into it, shall we?!
Here’s what I have and LOVE:
- Clemente Dress - This is probably my favorite of the three Mirth dresses I own. I love how lightweight it is and I love that the print is neutral, but it’s still a print.
- Janeiro Dress - Green is my favorite color - especially this green. It’s really pretty. This cotton feels slightly thicker than the Clemente dress, which isn’t necessarily a good or bad thing, just an observation.
- Kyoto Shirt - I have ocean stripe and white box stitch - my most worn pieces by far.
- Goa Top (I wear this bra with it) - so cute!
- The jumpsuit - I love a good jumpsuit and this one doesn’t disappoint. I actually think it would be really cute in the fall with boots and a light jacket too.
- Harbour Top - looooove this top. It’s just really pretty.
- Mirth Pant - these are probably my second most worn item. They are just a great pair of pants, worth having in multiple colors, honestly!
Here’s What’s In My Cart:
I’m approaching this with two things in mind: 1. What do I want to add for the upcoming season or for next summer? 2. What have I had my eye on that I can now try knowing I’m getting an incredible deal?
The Wimberly Cardigan - I wanted to get this last fall/winter, but I was living in Florida and it didn’t make sense at the time.
Westport Knit Top - this is so different from anything I have and I feel like there will be so many different ways to style it.
Alba Top - I love the shape of this one!
Kyoto in Kelp - green is my favorite color so this is a no brainer, but they are currently sold out in my size, so I may wait on it
I’ve been wanting to try the Zuma Dress style, so I am trying it in the White Rainfall
The Puglia Dress - although I have a lot of black in my closet, surprisingly I don’t have a black, lightweight, flowy dress…so this feels like really good option.
Nicobar Dress - I’m excited for my first short dress from Mirth!
Here’s what I wish I could order, but really don’t have a need for it in my closet right now:
DRESSES
* one thing about me - I don’t like summer dresses with sleeves. So all of my selections below are sleeveless, but Mirth does do a number of gorgeous dresses with sleeves too!
The Monaco Dress - looks like the perfect little white dress
The Barcelona Dress - the cutout details look really lovely. It also comes in black.
The Janeiro Dress in carnival stripe or in Indigo Crackle- I already love this style and these prints look super fun.
Ok wait, I might like the Monaco Dress better in the Lagoon Minnow print!
Corsica Sundress in Indigo Orchard Road - this one almost made my cart - it was either this one of Zuma. I really love this print and the neckline.
Ok wait, the Monaco Dress keeps getting better and better…love this indigo conch print too!
Clemente Dress in black - super tempting for me since I know I love this style!
TOPS
Since I have the Goa Top, I don’t think I need the Bahia Top or the Santanyi Top even though they are super cute.
I love the Zuma Top, but it looks pretty similar to the Harbour Top I have.
This Midland Top really tempted me, I hope I don’t regret not getting it! It comes in oat as well.
I love the Cerritos top in the boxstitch (same as the Kyoto top I have). It came down to this one or the Alba top…and I went with Alba.
Any Kyoto is a great idea!!
BOTTOMS
Other than the Mirth Pants in white, I love them in Kelp, Pond, Oatmeal or Black.
The Tivot Pants are great too. Full disclosure, I tried these and they didn’t quite fit me right, but my friend Natalie has them and they are great on her.
Love the length on the Bermuda Shorts
The Verona Skirt in white or verde fossil are my faves.
KNITS
The Andermatt Cardigan was sooo close to going in my cart, but I just like the other one I chose ever so slightly more.
The Teton Jacket is another one I might regret not adding to cart. Chicago just doesn’t have the weather for this jacket, but if I lived in Texas or California, this would be mine for sure.
The Cusco Croissant Cardigan is suuuuch a stunner!
The Aspen pullover is such a gorgeous classic
