Mirth sale purchase reviews + Recent Outfits
Happy August!! There is so much talk about pre-fall and fall out there right now, but I’m still in summer mode. Maybe in a couple of weeks, I’ll start to talk about fall, but for now I’m still enjoying summer and these warmer temps. So let’s talk about the Mirth sale. Last week I shared a 30% off code ahead of Mirth’s summer sale…which is now in full swing (no code needed). I loved seeing what you guys shopped - the Kyoto Shirt, Wimberly Cardigan, and Mirth Pants (I’m wearing mine below!), Nicobar Dress, and Aspen Pullover were some of your favorites. I received my order a couple days ago, so I thought I’d do a little review of each piece.

My Purchase Reviews

Wimberly Cardigan - this one was even better in person. It’s softer than I expected and I love the fit. It’s not too cropped and the V is perfect. I think this one is my favorite from my order. I know I said I’m not ready for fall yet, but I can’t wait to wear it!
Westport Knit Top - this one was sort of an unexpected love. The length and the short sleeves were a bit of a gamble for me, but I really like it. Definitely keeping it.
Zuma Dress in White Rainfall - I love this dress. It’s the perfect lightweight, wear when it’s 90 degrees dress. I love the color of the print too. I wore it immediately. It has pockets too! :)
Alba Top - this one I’m exchanging for a size larger. Typically Mirth fits true to size for me (and at times feels roomy enough to size down) so I was surprised about this one, but it was definitely too tight across my chest. I really like everything about the design and style of the top, so we’ll see how it fits with a larger size.
Nicobar Dress - I really like this dress. As I said last week, I don’t have any short dresses, so this fills a gap for me. However, I’m also exchanging this one for a larger size. It’s less surprising because the issue is my hips, which is a common occurrence for me, but I’m hoping it won’t be way too big on top now. I might be willing to take it to my alterations gal. We’ll see! If you’re thinking about getting this one, I honestly think it’s true to size if you don’t have a major size difference between your top and bottom.
Puglia Dress - This was a tough decision for me, but I decided to return this one. It’s really cute, but there is a seam that goes straight across my chest that I just didn’t love. It’s tough though because I really like the smocking on top. It just hit me in a funny place.

That’s all for now! I hope you enjoy your August!!
