Hi Friends! Happy Thanksgiving week! I thought I’d end the gift guide series with what’s on my personal list. My family doesn’t do a lot of gifts, so this is more of a brainstorm. I’m also sharing what sales I’m shopping this week and some of my favorite things (that I own) that are currently on sale. As always, everything is linked on my ShopMy!
Before we begin, I want to share a few things that have been on my mind lately, especially as a small business owner. You can read my full thoughts here:
This is the season of sales and discounts and while I think it’s great to grab some much needed or wanted items (I’ve already bought a few things), let’s do it with our eyes wide open. I want us all to feel empowered - not swept along with good marketing.
There is something really empowering about buying something at full price. You know you really wanted or needed it because you were willing to pay what it costs. It doesn’t need to be on sale to be getting a good deal and it forces us to stop and really consider our purchases.
Saving up to purchase quality products on sale is really empowering. Quality over quantity will last you longer and will save you money in the long run.
There is something really empowering about shopping online with brands that share your values and in person with local businesses. You know you are contributing to an economy that supports the kind of world you want to live in. And that feels good.
We’re not perfect. That’s ok! Just look at my wish list below. :)
My Wishlist
I’ll go clockwise: I’m notorious for wearing out my running shoes. Asics have always been my favorite brand and it seems like they are actually fashionable right now! I like these and these (but they are sold out everywhere).
I am very much in a cozy mood when it comes to getting dressed lately. I put a few Varley items on the Cozy Gift Guide and I wouldn’t mind getting any of them!
A classic light blue button up. I live in button ups and don’t have this timeless color. I am debating between three versions: AYR, Jamie Haller, and Comme Si. All slightly different.
Headphones - I don’t even know what to say for this one. I need new ones but I have no idea where to start. Do I want Bose? This is not my area of expertise! Any tips are welcomed!
This puffer coat is really speaking to me. It’s sold out right now, otherwise I probably would have snagged it in Leset’s sale. Maybe it will be restocked?
As I get older, the more I feel little twinges here and there and it might be nice to have a theragun on hand!
Emerald stud earrings are something that has been on my wishlist for a long time. Green is my favorite color and I love this designer. They are more expensive than anything I’d ever expect to get as a gift, but I love them so had to include them!
I’m in the market for a new cold weather boot. I have black boots, but they aren’t quite as chill this. Do I need them? Probably not, but would I wear them a lot? Probably!
The Primm Sweater was on the Knitwear Gift Guide - I just think it looks so luxurious. I love it in any of the colors.
Another pick from my Cozy Gift Guide - this Aspen Travel Set just has a way of making loungewear look elevated.
Workout gear is another area where I’m sort of stumped. I haven’t updated my collection for longer than is probably sanitary! I like the idea of a matching set, but I’m not supper enthused about just a sports bra. Adanola looks like they have some cute ones, but I will rely on my sisters for this one! Feel free to share your favorites in the comments. :)
And one last late addition - a Blissy pillowcase because we recently upgraded to king sized pillows and my current Blissy pillowcase is queen. The silk is good for your hair and skin!
Sales I’ve Shopped and Considering Shopping (so far!)
You can find an updated list of the best sales here!

Leset - I bought the Margo Tee because I’ve been in the market for a new white tee for awhile now and the Yoko Pocket Pant - I told you I’m in an elastic waist band kind of mood. :)
Flamingo Estate - I bought my favorite candle (seriously, the best!) and trying out their peppermint exfoliating soap brick and hand lotion.
Jones Road - I typically don’t wear make up, but after reading Bobbi Brown’s memoir I was intrigued by her no makeup, makeup philosophy. I ordered what the foundation (porcelain), miracle balm (dusty rose), makeup remover, and a brush. I’ll report back!
& Daughter (use code AND20)- I just got an email saying they are having a 20% off sale. This might be when I bite the bullet and get this sweater!
